Gender, Sexuality, and Identity
A distinctive, cross-cutting research theme at UVic Law is the exploration of how gender, sexuality, and identity are produced through categories of difference that combine with unequal social relations. Faculty have made significant contributions to the development of feminist perspectives of law, drawing on political theory, philosophy, cultural studies, political economy, and drama as well as legal studies.
