Experiential learning

The Faculty of Law defines itself by its dedication to teaching and learning, by the rigorous scholarship of its faculty members and students, and by acknowledging our responsibility to the public, on whose support we depend in so many ways. UVic Law offers several clinical programs that provide students with practical, hands-on experience in a legal environment.

In addition to the regular academic program, students may enrol in term programs that provide an intensive look at a particular area of law or of legal practice. Some term programs are offered in alternate years, or are offered subject to student interest.
