Bill Slade

Acting Manager, Finance and Administration

Bill Slade joined the Faculty of Law in October 2011 as Acting Manager, Finance and Administration. He will fill in for Rosemary McCutcheon until she returns from leave in January 2013.

Bill's responsibilities include budgeting, financial management, human resources, facilities management and information technology. Prior to his UVic appointment, Bill worked in various positions in Canada and as a finance director for an international, non-profit organization in Africa for 12 years. He also worked for a multinational food company in South Africa for 10 years in various accounting and IT management positions.

Bill is currently enrolled in the CGA-BC program and expects to complete it in 2012.
