Francine Proctor
Law Co-op Coordinator
B.Ed. (UBC), LL.B. (UVic)
Francine graduated with an LL.B. from UVic Law in 2001 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2003. Since then, Francine has worked in private legal practice and within government.
Francine was a teacher prior to attending law school and her background in education and law has been of great benefit to Francine in her current position. As the Law Co-op Coordinator, she oversees the operation of the Law Co-op Program — a unique program in Canada that allows students to combine academic terms with work terms. Francine enjoys working with students and employers to develop and deliver a positive and meaningful experiential learning program for the Faculty of Law.
